I am the webmaster for www.AllAboutVision.com, which contains more than 450 pages of information about eye problems, LASIK, eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, and much more.
Contact Lens Manufacturers Association
www.ContactLenses.org is an educational website for consumers that provides information about eye health and helps people choose the right contact lenses for their lifestyle and vision needs.
Wesley Jessen VisionCare (Now Part of CIBA Vision)
"Tips for Alluring Eyes" was a monthly e-mail newsletter created for a contact lens company and distributed to consumers. The emphasis was on color contact lenses, fashion, makeup tips, and contact lens care.
OptiStock
An important resource for health care investors, OptiStock.com links to optical news, provides analyst forecasts, showcases ophthalmic companies, and tracks vision care stocks. In addition to designing and maintaining the original website, I wrote and distributed "OptiStock News," an email that reported the week's news about publicly traded vision care companies. At first the newsletter was in text-only format, but later I sent it out in html. Now OptiStock is owned by The Wicks Group.
Bread & Roses
This nonprofit organization needed a website to describe their important work for people affected by HIV and AIDS. It also informed members of current events with an email newsletter they could sign up for on the site.
Hozro Consulting
This website was for a company that offered writing, editing, and retail security consulting services.
